↑ Loyal. || Emberleaf is extremely loyal to her clan, and it was this loyalty that lead her to becoming deputy of Jaggedclan. She wanted to prove her worth and give back to the clan that has given her so much. Though it isn't just to the clan she is loyal, once she has found a mate in someone, she will love them fiercely and always stay by their side through thick and thin

↑ Caring. || This she-cat is one of the nicest you may find, and cares about every one of her clanmates even if they want to be mean or hurtful towards her. All she wants is for her clan to be happy and everything to work well. If there is a problem with a clanmate and she is able to help, she will, all to see a lovely smile on her face. 

↓ Hotheaded. || When it comes to other clans and trespassers, or those that may speak badly about Jaggedclan, Emberleaf is easily angered and ready to jump in and defend her kin and friends with all her being. Though this is negative, it has come in handy from time to time especially in border skirmishes and other clan-to-clan complications.

↓ Restless. || She doesn't like to stay still, or keep in one spot. Illness and injuries are a no-go for this she-cat since she cannot stand being hled up in the medicine den when there are things to do and patrols to organize. Of course, this means that she may be hard to locate if she is constantly on the move.

↓↑ Wishful. || She is constantly hoping and wishing for things in her mind and out loud on occasion. "She wished to become an apprentice, a warriors, a deputy, etc." She constantly wanting for better things in her life. This isn't a bad thing of course, it helps her strive towards her dreams and goals and gives her a place to reach.  

↓↑ Determined. || There is nothing that can stop this she-cat once she has her mind something. She will put her heart and soul into whatever she wants and wont let any cat stand in her way or try to tell her other wise. This can easily become problematic, but for the most part it is a pretty harmless trait.

- H I S T O R Y -

[Kithood]

Emberkit was the only one in her litter to two Jaggedclan warriors, her mother Reedfeather and her father Coalprowl and lived a pretty normal kithood. However things seemed to change when her father suddenly left her mother and chose a new mate who already seemed to be pregnant with the dark toms kits. This wasn't unheard of in the clans, however it hit both Reedspill and Emberkit pretty hard. The little golden kit spent her kithood thinking that it was her fault and that her father didn't want such a small, pathetic daughter as she thought of herself. When Coalprowl and his new mate Whitestep gave birth to two little kits, Growlkit and Sootkit it seemed that Emberkit's fears were confirmed seeing as Coalprowl was constantly in the nursery with this new litter instead of seeing little Emberkit. This is where Emberkit's fierce loyalty comes from, determined not to be like her father and to show her love and devotion in everything she did. Of course, Emberkit shared the nursery with her younger half-brothers for two moons and she tried to get to know them and play with them, but every time Whitestep scolded her and shooed her back to her own nest. Reedfeather became angry about this and the two queens got into an argument that Coalprowl broke up, siding with Whitestep, Emberkit's mother was even more furious when she curled around her daughter and kept her away from her half-brothers. 

[Apprentice]

When Emberkit became emberpaw, she was given Rainpool as a mentor, the elderly grey tom was kind and gentle, and was very patience with the little spitfire of a apprentice. She was constantly wanting to try bigger and better moves, to do the techniques the older apprentices were using. Rainpool was wise and told her that such things weren't always for the best, however Emberpaw refused to listen and was constantly daydreaming of the days when she could become a warrior and do everything that the warriors could accomplish in their lives. The rest of her apprenticeship passed pretty normally, and after a border skirmish where Emberpaw gave a good fight and sent one of the warriors off with a good slash to the ear was she named a warrior the following evening where the clan called out her new name. Emberleaf.

[Warriorhood]

As a warrior, Emberleaf always wanted to be on border patrols or hunting patrols, not because she thought it might get her a good reputation, but because she hated sitting still in camp while there was stuff she could do. She was a dependable warrior and was always able when a clanmate needed help or advice. Except when she caught a bought of whitecough and was confined to the medicine den for a quarter moon. Emberleaf hated it and didn't want to stay there. She was scolded by the medicine cat several times and when she was finally free she through herself into all the patrols she could manage before her body gave out just to make up for lost time. In her later moons as a warrior, her father Coalprowl died from a snakebite and Emberleaf didn't feel the least bit of sorrow. She was angry at him, for leaving her and her mother. Her half-siblings however, mourned his death and sat vigil for him. Emberleaf only wished her siblings would know of what kind of cat their father really was, but since they never spoke to her, they never knew.

[Deputy]

Emberleaf was recently named deputy of Jaggedclan, and was shocked by the promotion but honored as well. She respected Jetstar and looked forward to serving under him.

Blood pounded in Darkjaw's ears, and the red sticky substance dripped over his nose from a cut on his forehead, however he did not loosen his grip on his opponent. If he lost even the slightest bit of grip it would be the end of him. The two cats were caught in a deadly game of tug-of-war each trying to gain the upper hand over the other as they struggled, bit, clawed, and snarled at each other. Just as he raised his claws to swipe at the other cat's throat his opponent sprang away from his grip, having used the fraction of a second that he had let go to his advantage. Darkjaw stumbled, his open claws hitting the dirt and he stared at the other tom, panting through clenched teeth as the two once again began to circle each other, waiting for either to make the slightest movement in the other's direction.
